You don’t have to be rich to have a financial adviser

Family You don’t have to be rich to have a financial adviser

Having a financial adviser has often been viewed as the domain of the rich, and wealthy or for famous people like Gary Barlow. But this is genuinely not true and we all at Searchlight Investments would like to dispel this myth.

Our feeling is that you don’t have to be rich to have a financial adviser, but if you enlist the help of a financial adviser you could end up rich. We’re here to help find solutions, and present potential opportunities that would make whatever money you have work hard for you.

And we’re not just saying that.

There are so many ways, with clever investment, that you can grow your money to ensure in the long term your own financial future is secured.  Think of financial planning like your career, it’s always good to have an idea of where you are heading and how you are going to get there.  In interviews, most of us at one time in our life have had to think of the answer to that dreaded question ‘Where do you see yourself in five years time?’ However, most people find thinking about and answering this question actually quite useful.

The same is true of financial planning. By thinking about and answering a few tricky questions about your financial goals, you’ll be able to plan and make sure that you end up where you want to be. Financial planning, put simply, can help you provide for your family and loved ones in the future, even when you retire.

We know investment in stocks and shares can also be a scary thought for the uninitiated, and again the perception often is that dabbling in the stock market is the preserve of the rich. But investment in shares is one of the key ways to help grow your income. An adviser can help build your share portfolio, matching the level of risk you are prepared to take. They’ll know what works well and what doesn’t and it doesn’t matter how large or small your ‘pot’ is, they will recommend a portfolio that is right for you.

So folks, you don’t have to be earning millions before seeking advice of a financial consultant. If you need help pulling together a financial plan, don’t hesitate to get in touch, and we’ll take you through an easy step–by- step planning
